Rifle and Pistol

Amenities:

Steel Core Ammunition:

Please check your ammunition Bullet Head with a magnet to see if it contains any ferrous (iron) material, if the magnet sticks it contains iron and can not be use at our facility. Steel core ammo is not allowed at our range due to the risk of fire from a ricochet and igniting the surrounding vegetation. Most Russian and Eastern block manufactures produce this ammo. Some brand names to avoid; Wolf, Tula, Golden-Brown-Silver Tiger, Mosin Naugant, anything Bear ect. Thank You for your cooperation.

Summer Hours:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8:30 to 4:30,

Winter:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 3:00

Fees:

$3.00 per shooter for members, $8.00 for non-members.

The Range is reserved at times for monthly rifle/pistol matches or shotgun shoots, and at times for special event. Please check Scheudle of Events and call for updates.

Basic safe use of rifle and pistol can be made available by NRA certified RSO's at no charge. Organizations or groups that would like to utilize the range for a class or event, will need to contact hdrgcpres@msn.com

The .22 Caliber rifle match is on the second Saturday of the month starting at 8:00 am to approx. 11:00 am.

The range layout consists of 10 shooting lanes, covered, with benches and room for standing or prone positions. Portable target stands are available to utilize at the 12 1/2 yard range, with fixed stands at 25, 50, 100 yard marks.

No Alcoholic Beverages may be consumed or possessed on the range or in the park area. If you have consumed any alcoholic beverage, you will not be allowed to shoot or remain on the range.
