Hi-Desert Rod and Gun Club

Nestled in the hills of Morongo Valley, at the foot of the Yucca grade, The Hi-Desert Rod and Gun Club has served the high desert  communities since 1976. We are a non-profit organization that is open to the public. We offer yearly memberships for the dedicated  shooters and daily rates for the occasional shooter or visitor. Come join us for a some good clean American fun. We are affiliates of the NRA and CRPA.

More About Us  

Our range will accommodate shooters of all ages, disciplines and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran in the sport of shooting you can find a challenge at our range. On Wednesday and Sunday mornings you will find a hearty round of trap to start the day off right. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the Rifle and Pistol benches are buzzing with action from morning to late afternoon. We have 10 covered stations that can accommodate standing, sitting and prone positions for your pleasure. On the second Saturday of the month we hold the David Miller Memorial .22 small bore matches. These matches are open to the old and young alike for some prone style NRA competition shooting. The third Saturday of the month we host advanced pistol competitions for members only. Join us on a Saturday for more information. We are affiliates of the NRA and CRPA. Firing line is always attended by an NRA certified "Range Safety Officer" who is there to direct range operations, assist shooters but most importantly, maintain a safe shooting environment. Safety First!!! The High Desert Rod and Gun Club does not rent or sell firearms nor do we sell or supply ammunition. Steel core ammunition is not allowed at our range.
